We have organised a series of workshops, meetings and picnics to
keep the team alive and to have a proper coordination and follow up . A brief
description along with photographs of each meeting/workshop are given below. In
addition to these meetings we have formed an e-mail group
kidsninavumagazine@googlegroups.com including all the editorial board
members and senior coordinators to have an easy interaction between the team
members on a daily basis.
The 1STworkshop was conducted on
the 28th of march at creek park, Dubai. There were 30 of us
including Ganga Auntie, Uma Auntie, Krishnakumar uncle, Kishore Uncle and
parents. The whole session started with introduction of the children and a brief
description of the magazine by Krishnakumar uncle. We had an interactive session
of photography by Kishore uncle. The session included taking photographs in
different angles in order to capture the best shot.Introduction of web designing
software for the magazine edition was given by Gayatri. We all discussed and
suggested many topics to include in the magazine. We then had some
refreshments arranged by coordinators. Children were so excited to have
such a session and they found sometime to spend together in the
park.

Articles are both grouped as agewise and category wise.
Another
Highlight is we have decided to have the coverstory of this edition 'Likes

different kids.
Another Important Point which I want to make a special
mention is many of our parents have offered us venues (their own houses ) for
our meetings and fed us with mouth watering homemade dishes including
snacks, Biriyani, Fried rice, Porottas, desserts etc etc. They are Uma
Sreekumar, Letha Satheesh, Fathima Babu Syed and Sheefa Krishnakumar . Thank you
all Aunties For your wonderful hospitality and we look forward to meet together
again .
I take this opportunity to thank Babu Syed Uncle, Uma aunty
and Othe rco-ordinators and Ceta Office Bearers for their continuous support and
guidance. Editors and 'article contributors' are the backbone of this
successful endeavour without whom I cannot fullfill this dream. So
Thankyou Everybody and
