The 1STworkshop was conducted on the  28th of march at creek park, Dubai. There were 30 of us including Ganga Auntie, Uma Auntie, Krishnakumar uncle, Kishore Uncle and parents. The whole session started with introduction of the children and a brief description of the magazine by Krishnakumar uncle. We had an interactive session of photography by Kishore uncle. The session included taking photographs in different angles in order to capture the best shot.Introduction of web designing software for the magazine edition was given by Gayatri. We all discussed and suggested many  topics to include in the magazine. We then had some refreshments arranged by  coordinators. Children were so excited to have such a session and they found sometime to spend together in the park.

Ninavu kids editors Aparna, Vaishnavi, Gautham ,Gayathri and Serin interviewed seniormost cetatians and former presidents of Ceta Mr. Hareendralal and Mr. Malik . It was very interesting and informative discussion regarding CET days, after CET and life in UAE etc. Experience shared by Malik Sir who is here for the last 40 years was a different  story. More than 1 Hour we spent with them . Details of INTERVIEW can be seen in the Magazine (Interview session)

Today - (that is the the previous day 28th may)-We have received all together 70 articles from kids ranging from the age group of 3  to 17. This includes, Interviews, Articles, poems, Arts, Crafts etc. both from Dubai and Abudhabi. Cover page is designed to get a quick glance of what is inside. Articles are both grouped as agewise and category wise.

Another Highlight is we have decided to have the coverstory of this edition  'Likes and Dislikes of CETA" Which is a compiled report of one word opinions from different kids.

Another Important Point which I want to make a special mention is many of our parents have offered us venues (their own houses ) for our meetings and fed  us with mouth watering homemade dishes including snacks, Biriyani, Fried rice, Porottas,  desserts etc etc. They are Uma Sreekumar, Letha Satheesh, Fathima Babu Syed and Sheefa Krishnakumar . Thank you all Aunties For your wonderful hospitality and we look forward to meet together again .

I take this opportunity to thank  Babu Syed Uncle, Uma aunty and Othe rco-ordinators and Ceta Office Bearers for their continuous support and guidance.  Editors and 'article contributors' are the backbone of this successful endeavour without  whom I cannot fullfill this dream. So Thankyou Everybody and

Best Of Luck for Kid's for the coming Exams ...

Best Regards

Merin
