Minnu and
Mittu are my best friends. When I tell 'best friends you may think that they are
humans. They are not, they are parrots my 'pet birds'. They are lovely,
friendly, cute and sensitive, but sometimes they are like cat and
mouse
Their cage is
kept near our T.V. They like watching T.V. especially cartoons. They also like
climbing the curtain very much
Their cage
consists of 2 rods. 1 rod is given to 1 parrot. Their food consists of
sunflower seeds (not roasted, no salt) just plain sunflower seed. I also give
them cold apple to eat in the evening as they need to eat some fruit in a day
like we do.

They are given
a bowl of water to play with every week. They are also given a bath every week.
They also bath in the bath tub like us. I make them bath with the shower and
they play in it like rain is coming. They also do naughty things like bending
our clocks needle when on the curtain rail.
Their gender
is male, I know this because, only male parrots have a red ring around their
neck. These parrots have a life span of about 50 years!
They are trained
parrots. So if you take them in your hand they will not bite you. That's why
it's a must to take them outside the cage once a week.
Oh! And one
more thing these parrots were gifted to me by Mr.Sagar. He is one of my father's
friends. He gifted them to me as I had told him that I like
parrots.
