Once upon a time there lived a very old kind woman Peru. She
was really poor, so she had to sell balloons. Her balloons were colorful
balloons but they were very big that nobody wanted them. She was also very ugly
and everybody made fun of her. She was really sad. She couldn’t even eat one
meal a day; she didn’t even have a proper home. Nobody felt sorry for her; they
thought that she was really rude. Though she very poor she shared her money with
poorer people. A fairy saw her and bought five balloons. Peru was so surprised;
this was the first time somebody bought balloons from her. It actually cost five
pennies but Peru said it only cost two pennies. The fairy cast a spell; whoever
and anyone Peru saw would buy five balloons. Peru was so surprised, after the
fairy went everyone she saw bought five balloons. She was very happy. She went
home, her pocket jingling with money. This went on for some days. Once when Peru
came back from work, she saw a letter on the doorstep. She read it loud.
This is what it said:
Use the money you have
wisely.
Love,
Fairy
Now Peru was too proud to listen. The
next day she went to sell balloons, she saw many poor people begging for money,
but she wouldn’t give them. She was too greedy. The fairy was seeing all this,
she got very angry and so she cast a spell that Peru shall be poor again. So
when she went to sell balloons nobody bought them. She was very sad and lost her
money. Peru soon understood her mistake, after some days and then she gave a
little of her money to the people who were poorer than her and the fairy was
happy. So she cast a spell that Peru shall be rich again.
Soon people
began to buy her balloons and she became quite rich. But now Peru uses her money
wisely and helps the poor. Now she has a proper home and she doesn’t need to
sell balloons anymore. She is living happily with all the money she
has.
