First time when my mother told me about the memory workshop, I was very much excited because I had seen Mr.Praveen's mind reading and magic skills during the kid’s magazine inaugural function. I even thought of coming back home and practicing some magic tricks on my sister Swarna who is 7 years and could not make it because of the age limit (luckily).

However, when I attended the workshop I saw it was all about improving the memory. I had lots of fun in the memory improving games and exercises. For the first time I learnt that our brain was expandable to any amount of information and our present information contained in our brain was like a speck of dust to what my brain could really store.

He also told us about a maths seminar he was conducting and gave us a small demonstration although he did not tell us how it worked. Out of all the methods, I liked the chain method very much although the peg method also helps me in some situations. This method also helped me remember important dates in History and long confusing names in Biology up to an extent. Though I am disappointed that I cannot read my sister's mind or change her into a frog, the workshop helped me to improve my memory by a large margin. It was indeed a day to put in my ‘memory’.

I thank the organizers who made this workshop possible especially Sathish uncle                and Krishna Kumar uncle. I look forward to another one of such workshops that are fun and at the same time informative and which my sister cannot come to.
